Job Description

Visa Technology & Operations LLC., a Visa Inc. company, needs a Technical Product Manager (Multiple Openings) in Foster City, CA to :

  • Act as Product Owner proxy, while being part of the Development team as well as the single point of contact for developers to understand requirements, workflow, priorities and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with Product Managers / Owners to understand their vision for product roadmap and help them to understand system capabilities in order to convert the roadmap into concrete requirements.
  • Groom product backlog.
  • Write story with details like User Stories, wire frame, acceptance criteria and other materials as needed to support technical design, development and QA activities.
  • Ensure story break down is INVEST.
  • Participate in release and sprint plan as Product Owner proxy.
  • Contribute to roadmap definition to incrementally deliver the new functionality and value in an Agile manner.
  • Work very closely with the development team.
  • Participate in high level solution of the product.
  • Validate the stories as per acceptance criteria to ensure high quality product releases.
  • Effectively communicate plan, status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner.

This position reports to the Employer’s Foster City, California office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

  • Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Technical Product Manager-related Occupation.
  • Software Product Development.
  • Working with Agile Business Analyst / Product Owner.
  • Product implementation using Agile methodologies.
  • Programming languages including Angular, Java script, HTML, and / or CSS.

Additional Information

WORKSITE : Foster City, CA

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership / site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements : This position does not require travel.

Mental / Physical Requirements : This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY : The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $132,300.00 USD to $211,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable).

Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
