About The Position
Job Title : X-Ray Technician Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (06 : 00 - 19 : 00);
Day 4x10-Hour (09 : 00 - 19 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 2 years License : Valid State License required at the time of submission.
Please note that Illinois is not a compact state. It is required to have the license in hand at the time of submission. Certifications : Not specified Must-Have : General Radiology experience, including portables, Fluoro procedures, and OR procedures- Preferred skills : IR procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, & drainages- EPIC charting experience required- Flu Vaccine required (Medical / Religious exemptions accepted) Job Description : Weekend position working Saturday, Sunday, and Monday- Saturday and Sunday shifts are 13 hours (06 : 00 - 19 : 00), and Monday shift is 10 hours (09 : 00 - 19 : 30)- Daily caseload per technician is approximately 20- First-time applicants are accepted- Floating to support nearby facilities as needed- Orientation consists of 40 hours- Compliance with safety testing requirements, including facial hair restrictions for fit testing- Must abide by travel compliance deadlines and return staff policy- Candidates should indicate interest in contract extensions or preferences for weekly hoursThis position does not require on-call duties or the COVID-19 vaccine.
Local practitioners within a 75-mile radius are not accepted, and only a limited request for time off is permitted within the 13-week contract.
