Job Description :
- Serve as a circulator in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), ensuring the safe and efficient recovery of patients following surgical procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs, assess post-operative status, and provide immediate intervention as needed
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain a sterile environment in the PACU, adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
Requirements :
- Active RN license in the state of New Mexico
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in perioperative nursing, with specific experience in PACU preferred
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
