Description :

This position involves providing physical therapy in a home health setting.

The shift is from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, offering full-time hours.

Weekend coverage is required every other weekend, with a weekday off during the rotation week.

No call requirement is included.

You will provide therapy services to patients with a variety of diagnoses including orthopedic conditions, neurological disorders, and post-operative rehabilitation needs.

Assessment skills in body mechanics and specific conditions such as low back pain, cervicalgia, and post-surgical care are essential.

Experience in developing home exercise programs and educating patients and their families is necessary.

You will work with patients across various age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Knowledge of cognitive disorders and rehabilitation for conditions like multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and spinal cord injuries is beneficial.

The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Team collaboration with interdisciplinary support services is expected.

This position will include interacting with patients in their homes, so flexibility and good organizational skills are essential.
