CPC Certified Coding Specialist

A company is looking for a Coding Reimbursement Specialist I in the Revenue Cycle department.

Key Responsibilities

Perform ICD and CPT coding of provider services and verify charge information

Process charges in a timely manner and communicate with team members regarding guidelines

Research and address edits related to claim and coding submissions

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required

CPC, CPC-A or equivalent coding credential required

Some coding, medical billing, and / or clinical experience preferred

Understanding of regulatory guidelines including NCDs and LCDs

Working knowledge of coding, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
