TRAVEL NURSE RN - NICU - NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE - $2,434 PER WEEK

Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in San Diego, California.

Job Description & Requirements

Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested required during fall / winter season Required :

• CA License
• 2 years of recent Level 4 experience
• Will consider strong Level 3 RN if they come from a Level 3 NICU that performs surgeries on newborns
• Will consider strong 1st time traveler
• Advanced NRP
• PALS Preferred
• Willing to float between units (PICU & CVICU) and NICU satellite campuses (Rancho Springs, Palomar, Scripps Encinitas, Scripps La Jolla, Scripps Mercy and Scripps Chula Vista)
• Must have own transportation
• Experience in : Oscillator, conventional ventilator, CPAP, Nasal Cannula specialty gases, PICC lines, Broviacs, UAC UVC PAL lines, trachs, ostomies, and G-Tubes.

Must be comfortable with line changes that have multiple drips, pre and post op care. Shifts :

• 3x12 Variable or straight nights
• Every other weekend (Saturday / Sunday for day shift and Friday / Saturday / Sunday for night shift). Requested Time Off :
• Must work 2 out of the 3 holidays. 6 days max RTO. Ratio : 1 : 1-2
