As a Purchasing / Warehouse Coordinator, you’ll have the unique opportunity to work closely with our experienced team, gain valuable skills, and contribute to our success.
Role Overview : As a Purchasing / Warehouse Coordinator, you will report directly to Tom, our Engineering Manager. This role is a perfect blend of office and warehouse work, with 50% of your time spent managing purchase orders, communicating with vendors, preparing inventory reports, and coordinating shipments.
The other 50% of your time will be hands-on in the warehouse, handling shipping and receiving tasks, unloading trucks, and organizing inventory.
What You'll Do :
Office Responsibilities (50%) :
- Enter purchase orders (POs) and communicate with vendors.
- Prepare inventory and order reports for vendors and internal teams.
- Coordinate shipping logistics with trucking companies.
- Work closely with the field service team, sales, engineering, and project management.
Warehouse Responsibilities (50%) :
- Unload trucks, shrink wrap orders, and prepare shipments.
- Organize inventory and manage shipping and receiving tasks.
- Assist with other manual labor tasks as needed.

Must-Haves :
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical Capability : Comfortable working in a warehouse setting, performing manual labor, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to Learn : Eager to learn how to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and dock equipment (training provided).
- Experience or Interest in Manufacturing : Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics setting, or a mechanical inclination with a desire to pursue a career in manufacturing.
- Basic Computer Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Suite; experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (now called Microsoft 365) is a plus.
- Communication Skills : Comfortable talking to vendors over the phone and building strong relationships.
Nice-to-Haves :
- Previous Experience : Any experience in purchasing or customer service is a bonus.
- Inventory Control Knowledge : Familiarity with inventory control and cycle counts is helpful but not required we’ll train you!
- Cross-Functional Experience : Experience working with a cross-functional team and wearing multiple hats.
