About The Position
Job Title : Operating Room Technician (ORT)Job Specialty : Operating RoomJob Duration : 13 weeksShift : 12-hour shifts with 9 AM and 11 AM start timesGuaranteed Hours : 36 hours per weekExperience : Minimum of 3 years in inpatient surgery, Level 1 trauma experience preferredLicense : Not specifiedCertifications : NBSTSA certification required, BLS certification requiredMust-Have : - Competency in at least 5 of the following services : general, gynecological, genitourinary, oral, otolaryngology, bariatrics, orthopedics, neurology, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, spine.
- Positive attitude and flexibility- Excellent communication skillsJob Description : - Work 36 hours per week, primarily evening shifts.
- Every third weekend obligation, with one call shift per schedule period.- No major holiday work required.- May need to float to other operating room campuses as needed.
- Participate in surgical services across various specialties.- Collaborate effectively with a diverse surgical team.- Maintain a positive and adaptable approach in a dynamic work environment.
