The Child and Family Guidance Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive, integrated mental health services to our patients in Dallas, Ellis, and Navarro Counties.

What you’ll do
- Provide comprehensive mental health care, including diagnosing and treating mental health and emotional disorders
- Maintain detailed patient records and prepare cases for Medical Director review
- Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with other healthcare professionals for continuity of care
- Ensure compliance with city, state, and federal laws, as well as CFGC policies and HIPAA regulations
- Educate patients and families about mental health and attend all required training and meetings
What you bring
- Must be licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas
- Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Passion for serving families of all backgrounds
- Knowledge of mental health and emotional disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong documentation and time management skills
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- Must possess a valid driver's license and auto liability insurance for local travel (up to 65%)
