Experience : Minimum 2 years in specialty required, except for the SICU unit
License : Compact or relevant State License required at time of submission
Certifications : ACLS, BLS & NIHSS required; TNCC preferred
Must-Have :
- Proficiency in all transplant skills
- Level 1 Trauma experience
- PA lines experience
- COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines required (Medical / Religious Exemptions Only)
Job Description :
- Trauma / Surgical experience required, focusing on various traumatic injuries (e.g., MVCs, penetrating wounds, falls)
- Experience with cancer surgery, liver transplants, and similar procedures
- Candidates will float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
- Background and licensure checks required, no hits accepted
- Orientation : 8 hours non-billable
- Respond to calls within 1 hour during assigned call hours
- Call frequency : 2-3 shifts per 6-week schedule period
- Weekend call schedules divided into two shifts : 6AM-6PM or 6PM-6AM
