Atrium Health is looking for a Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Physician to join the team at Carolinas Rehabilitation in Charlotte, NC.
This position is opened to both newly trained fellows and experienced candidates.
Position Highlights :
- Weekday shift from 8 am to 5 pm plus variable call coverage
- Opportunity for inpatient, consult, and outpatient work at a tertiary rehabilitation center
- Ability to grow rehabilitation services in a mature and well-developed department
- Option for academic and educational involvement with residents and medical students
Candidate Qualifications :
- Research interest / experience, and interest in teaching at all trainee levels
- BC / BE in spinal cord injury medicine required
Carolinas Rehabilitation (CR) , a facility of Atrium Health located in Charlotte, NC, is one of the largest rehabilitation providers in the nation and is known for excellence in clinical care and its academic is comprised of four rehabilitation facilities, all located in the Charlotte Metro area.
CR manages 192 acute rehabilitation beds and has established inpatient / outpatient programs in Oncology, Spinal Cord Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, Pediatric Rehabilitation, Orthopedics and Amputee Rehabilitation, as well as an extensive network of outpatient MSK / Sports / Spine clinics as part of the Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute.
