JOB TITLE (#1552 ) : Licensed Practical Nurse / Staff Nurse - Jersey City, NJ
Minimum of 1 year nursing home experience is preferred
Impact Recruiting Solutions is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to fill an opening with a long-term care and sub-acute facility located in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Schedule of the Licensed Practical Nurse / Staff Nurse :
- This is for a Full-time, Part-time or Per Diem position
- Day and night shifts available
- Expected hours : 7.5 37.5 per week
- Monday to Friday, rotating weekends, weekends as needed
- Supplemental schedule : Holidays, On-call, Overtime
Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse / Staff Nurse :
- The staff nurse will perform direct services for residents / patients
- Administer medications and provide treatments
- Provide personal care to facilitate continual assessment and evaluation, and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Coordinate the communication of the resident / patient care needs with members of the other disciplines.
- Identify and delegate suitable components of care to CNA; supervise, educate, and provide guidance as necessary.
- Functions independently with minimal direction from the unit manager; assumes charge and staff nurse responsibilities as assigned.
- Participate in the nursing quality assurance programs.
Requirements
- Must hold a current, valid NJ LPN License
- At least 1 year experience in a nursing home is preferred
