Product Designer
Senior Product Designer
Pay Rate : $92.00 / hour (W2 and option for benefits)
Location : Remote
Duration : 12 mo to start
Responsibilities :
- Utilize your design expertise in product thinking, interaction design, and craftsmanship to enhance the product and inspire the teams you work with.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering, product management, and research teams to devise impactful, user-centric, and data-informed solutions.
- Encourage collaboration through actively seeking feedback and managing relationships with various stakeholders.
- Work alongside engineers throughout the implementation and quality assurance phases.
- Maintain and promote a high standard of design execution within the team.
Required Qualifications :
- Consumer Facing Experience, working within Design Systems
- Proven track record envisioning, building, and iterating on digital products in close partnership with product management and engineering
- Strong portfolio that demonstrates outstanding design skills and product thinking informed by qualitative and quantitative insights
- Great communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate your design decisions and the problems they’re solving
- Attention to detail and a sense of pride and ownership over the quality of the product
- Solid understanding of layout, typography, color, and other graphic design principles
- Ability to work within and extend a design system
- Team player with strong collaboration skills and ability bring cross-functional partners along in the journey
- High level of self-awareness with a growth mindset
- Must be able to prototype
Portfolio Must Haves :
- Case Study with high craft visual design experience
- Ability come up with a vision; the wow factor but also to see if they have the ability a vision to work backwards to get there through discovery, research, story telling, to final design deliverable
- Historically stood out a very simple vision and clearly see how the increments lead to the vision
- Design Visioning is important
