The Midland Division Salvation Army Thrift Store located in Joplin, Missouri, is looking for an individual who would like to apply their creativity and experience as a Thrift Store Digital Media Coordinator.
This is a part-time position, of under 20 hours per week that pays $14.00 an hour.

Essential Functions
Digital Marketing & Media Relations
- Manage digital platforms including websites and social media.
- Utilize brand guidelines and templates provided by territorial and divisional headquarters
- Develop and execute digital strategies aligned with engagement goals.
- Build and maintain a monthly social media editorial calendar to keep planned content organized and aligned with both strategic and thematic calendars.
- Support digital advertising and graphic design efforts.
- Coordinate strategic promotional campaigns and maintain brand consistency.
- Utilize marketing automation tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Collaborate with Corps Officers on media content and messaging.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is required (or currently acquiring)Minimum 3 years' experience in media relations or digital marketingSocial media platform proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Hootsuite and social media platformsContent creation and managementDigital marketing and knowledgeStrong organizational, project management and communication skillsBasic photography and graphic design skillsRequires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a TSA MVR checkPersonal commitment to Christian values and alignment with the mission of The Salvation ArmyPhysical and Working Conditions
Must be able to perform the duties of the job. Position must be able to work in an office environment using a computer, answering phones, and operating office equipment. Must be able to work outdoors when needed in various weather conditions. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally. Position must be able to work with a wide variety of people, ranging from clients with potential personal issues to community and business leaders.
