About the Role :
Program Management of Product Development teams mainly based in California, Texas and India
Responsibilities
Drive roll-out of new procedures and update to new procedures within team.
Ensure consistency of, and adherence to, mandatory procedures across the teams (i.e. consistent use of work items, development scorecard usage).
Optimize processes to the context of the product team while still complying with mandatory requirements.
Coordinate with other product teams to identify and manage inter-dependencies.
Manage risks and issues and take proactive measures to facilitate resolution of them.
Ensure a plan for release is created, discussed and aligned
Ensure milestones and plans are adhered to and clearly communicated.
Facilitate higher level planning backlog refinement on a regular cadence.
Facilitate coordination meetings between team leads for the product teams involved, e.g. concerning impediments, risks and dependencies.
Schedule and conduct retrospectives after Milestones or other key activities are completed.
Coordinate preparation status in review meetings and quarterly product review meetings. Present information within own area of responsibility as required.
Ensure delivery of internal release announcements.
Assist with maintaining software development process with continuous improvement in mind by updating wikis and onboarding content.
Agile Coach for product team within area of responsibility.
Qualifications
Possess a BS / MS / Ph.D. degree.
10+ years of experience with commercial software product development, with at least 3 years in team leadership / managerial role.
Experience with Agile / Lean software development. Familiar with software lifecycle processes and lean / agile development methodologies.
Experience organizing multiple teams delivering on software / product development initiatives.
A track record of managing complex development programs to deliver technical solutions and achieve business results
Clear and effective communicator to both senior leadership and technology teams
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience collaborating with teams and stakeholders across multiple geographies is preferred.
Experience working in domain related to Process Simulators or thermodynamic algorithms
Experience acting as agile coach
Salary Range :
$119,900.00 - $199,900.00
This pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation that the position offers, and final compensation can vary within the range depending on work location, job experience, skills, and relevant educational attainment and / or training.
