POSITION :
M aintenance Technician 2nd Shift
Giant Resource Recovery - Attalla, AL
SUMMARY :
This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. The tasks of this individual will include, but is not limited to :
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Performing routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and structures.
- Ability to plumb and repair processing lines, water lines, etc.
- Experience with electrical wiring and safety.
- Ability to operate forklifts, aerial lift, bobcat, etc.
- Make welding repairs.
- Correcting potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
- Maintain a clean work area and complying with compliance regulations.
- Completion of daily paperwork.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing machinery.
- Good work ethic and perform as a Team Player.
- Follow directions.
- Follow all safety rules. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Strong and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) is a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Must have a good attendance record.
- Electrical experience preferred. Benefits :
