About The Position
Job Title : Cardiovascular Technician Job Specialty : Cardiovascular Technician Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 07 : 00 AM - 05 : 30 PM Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 1 year License : ARRT-R and state license or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certifications : BCLS (AHA) required upon hire;
ACLS required within 30 days of hire Must-Have : Active ARRT or RCIS certification Job Description : Assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.
- Ensure the procedure room is adequately prepared for procedures.- Monitor par level of all instruments and supplies.- Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
- Assist in the training of new staff.- Assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.- Participate in on-call shifts required Monday to Friday (10-hour shifts).
- Proficient computer skills required.
