The Financial Analyst II will help support financial budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. Will provide direct financial analysis support to corporate functional departments and Finance leaders and their respective teams.
The Analyst will perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements. This position will also work closely with accounting, other Finance departments, and support functions.
Location : Indianapolis, Indiana. We are seeking candidates who currently live within a 70 mile radius of our Corporate Office.
Our Corporate Office (CO) is on the northwest side of Indianapolis.
Position is Hybrid, primarily remote with in-office days as needed.
Responsibilities
- Support the Annual Budget Process for the company by coordinating budget areas and associated reporting methodology for designated department teams within the SG&A or other.
- Perform analysis and review on monthly and quarterly financial reporting with appropriate review with key leaders on financial performance.
- Provide analysis of trends and forecast and recommended actions for optimization.
- Identify and drive process improvements in our reporting and forecasting processes.
- Responsible for various reporting requests as identified by leadership or participate in other finance-related project work.
- Create a positive team culture as a member of the team.
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is required, 3+ years preferred, Service Industry experience a plus.
- Good understanding of financial analysis and general accounting practices.
- Strong analytical and data-gathering skills.
- Ability to streamline processes and financial reporting.
- Working knowledge of GAAP.
- Ability to digest data and identify opportunities to drive action.
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office : Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and presentation Skills.
- Excellent analytical skills required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to develop strong internal working relationships.
Education and Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business or equivalent experience required.
