Position Summary

Our factory in Crete, Nebraska stands as one of the largest manufacturers in the area and one of the largest wet pet food manufacturing facilities in the U.S. Together, we proudly produce over one thousand tons of pet food per day, including renowned brands such as Alpo®, Nestlé Purina ONE®, Pro Plan®, Friskies®, and Nestlé Purina Veterinary Diets®. Hourly pay starting at $30.46 / hour with opportunities for increase up to $38.02 / hour through additional training / certifications.

As an Electrician, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance of all plant systems, including facilities, unloading, processing, packing, and warehouse operations. While keeping safety top of mine, you’ll play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements across the plant by troubleshooting and repairing both mechanical and electrical equipment. Our electricians’ work includes both predictive and preventative maintenance.

Troubleshoot electrical controls systems including motors and PLCs

Effectively use basic diagnostic equipment including volt / ohm meter, wiggie, ammeter, and megger

Proper usage of PPE equipment while operating in the MCC rooms

Installation of sensors

Install, fine-tune, and maintain switch gear, control wiring and components, overcurrent and overload protection for plant motor(s) including three phase systems

Service and maintain plant electrical and electronic equipment to competent level including operator interfaces, process controllers, power supplies, etc.

Requirements

1+ years of electrician experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment OR a 2-year technical degree.

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $30.46. Please note that the pay provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
