ViacomCBS is hiring : Sports Producer (per diem) in Chicago

This is a per diem position

PURPOSE OF POSITION :

Looking for an innovative and detailed-oriented producer who can conceive, edit, and execute sportscasts with a strong knowledge and passion for Chicago sports.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Work under deadline demands to help build compelling segments for a virtual reality studio in collaboration with other sports producers, anchors / reporters.
• Prepare, coordinate, and edit material for daily sportscasts.
• Develop enterprising story ideas and segments.
• Proficient non-linear editing skills and sports scripting writing.
• Field produce, as needed.
• Must be knowledgeable in digital / social media platforms and ability to add to station strategies.
• Log televised sports events and interviews.
• Maintain an unequivocal commitment to accuracy, fairness and ethics.
• Other duties, as assigned.
