Caregiver for Elderly Male with Parkinson's
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver for an 80+ year-old male, approximately 170 lbs, who has Parkinson's disease.
This is primarily a companion care position.
Immediate Start
Location : Ladera Ranch
Wednesday, Friday, and Saturaday
Hours : 8 am -7 pm
Responsibilities :
- Assist the client with transitioning from bed to walker.
- Provide companionship and engage in conversation in English.
- Prepare meals for the client.
- Drive the client to appointments or errands, if necessary. (Mileage reimbursement or additional pay per mile driven if using your own vehicle.)
- Be prepared for possible medical complications related to Parkinson's.
Requirements :
- HCA (Home Care Aide) or CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification.
- Experience with Parkinson’s patients.
- Proficient in English.
- Reliable transportation, car insurance, and a clean driving record.
- Ability to provide physical assistance with transitioning.
- Must be patient, reliable, and able to provide a supportive presence.
Client Information :
- The client is independent in bathing and dressing.
- Primary care needs are mobility assistance and companionship.
