Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a skilled Travel Ultrasound Technologist for an exciting 13-week contract in Huron, South Dakota . Job Type : Travel Contract

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Compensation : Up to $2,700 per week (based on experience)

Modality : OB, Vascular, and Abdominal Ultrasound

Job Description :

As a Travel Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform high-quality diagnostic sonographic examinations across multiple specialties. Your expertise will play a crucial role in supporting physicians with accurate and timely imaging to assist in diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities :

Perform OB, vascular, and abdominal ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician orders

Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust technical factors to ensure optimal image quality

Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort

Analyze images for diagnostic quality and collaborate with radiologists for accurate interpretation

Maintain proper documentation and adhere to facility and safety guidelines

Ensure equipment is maintained and operating efficiently

Education and Certification Requirements :

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program

ARDMS certification required in at least one specialty (OB, Vascular, or Abdomen)

Experience performing OB, vascular, and abdominal ultrasounds required

No state license required for South Dakota

Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association

Skills and Qualifications :

Excellent attention to detail and image quality

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

Compassionate approach to patient care
