About This Role
We are looking for a highly motivated SAP Solution Architect who is passionate about developing complex implementation. You will help define solution strategy, drive design, and technical implementation, and architect innovative solutions.
You will work on diverse projects from gathering customer requirements to implementing the solutions in an extremely fast-paced environment.
This position requires excellent stakeholder management and technical skills, expertise with architecture, design, and implementation of information security software, identity and access management systems, or enterprise software, and documentation experience in the healthcare industry dealing with HIPPA / GDPR / International Data Residency requirements.
Travel : Up to 25% travel, as needed, to our California facilities in Orange County or San Francisco.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage Technical architecture analysis, research, design, and development of new functionality and integration with key applications and services under SAP ecosystems
- Design new solution extensions based on customer requirements
- Provide architecture and design guidance to the development team
- Guild the engineering team to develop, configure, and implement the solution as per the product development standards to meet business requirements
- Monitor the work of the technical team and ensure standards are adhered to under SAP’s Solution Extensions
- Ensure technical integrity of projects, making sure that common technical elements are leveraged, and that work is not duplicated
- Work with and advise the QA team on the design of test plans, test cases, and automation
- Participate in product roadmap and product strategy definition.
- Help and review the creation of training, product, and solution documentation
- Coordinate with other technical teams to ensure compatibility with IRhythm Teams that interface with SAP
- Hold self and others accountable to the committed deadlines and ensure successful deliverables
- Take an active role in the development of other team members
- Engage with leading customers and strategic partners to identify and validate requirements and translate to solution design
- Lead team in driving and delivering customer solutions
- Performing integration architecture and infrastructure design activities
- Participating in resolving technology integration problems
- Act as a mentor, coach, and provide training to engineers and consultants by sharing solutions and technical expertise
- Ensure customer satisfaction through quality work and effective communication throughout projects
- Must be hands-on with RICEFW development and ABAP New syntax as needed to support project timelines and objectives
Position Requirements
- BS Degree in computer science or engineering or higher with 12 15 years of SAP experience
- 7+ years’ experience in SAP product consulting, systems integration, or architect role focused on the Life science / Healthcare / Digital Healthcare businesses.
- Must have extensive international / cross-border configuration experience
- Have a good understanding of SAP best practices
- Must have excellent expertise in ABAP development with an understanding of SAP modules such as Finance, MM, PP, QM, SD, PLM, and APO
- Must have extensive development experience using ABAP objects, CDS Views, HANA SQL Programming, SAP Fiori Developments, OData developments
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) based design & development and ABAP Restful Programming Model
- Experience with compliance regulations like GDPR, ITAR, and Export Compliance
- Experience with Java-based development is a plus
- Must be an expert in analyzing, creating system specifications, developing tests, and implementing business solutions utilizing SAP technologies
- Experience working with interfaces in addition to Web Services, such as Java connectors and Rest APIs communicating with non-SAP applications
- Experience with SAP security concepts and implemented authorization checks in ABAP objects is a plus
- Experience in working with SAP Cloud technologies like NS2 and other SAP Cloud technologies
- Expertise in doing Solution demos and presentations to customers / business stakeholders / architects
- Experience with Data Masking, Data Anonymization techniques is a huge plus
- Should be proficient in performance tuning to deliver optimized solutions
- Ability to assess and manage / notify technical risks and issues to the manager
- Up to 25% travel, as needed, to our California facilities in Orange County or San Francisco.
