Job description

Overview : We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team.

The primary responsibilities of this role include relocating vehicles within the yard and loading vehicles into containers for shipment.

This position requires precision, attention to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities :

• Safely operate forklifts to relocate vehicles within the yard as per operational requirements.
• Load and unload vehicles into / from containers, ensuring secure placement and compliance with loading standards.
• Conduct pre-operation checks on forklifts and other equipment to ensure functionality and safety, reporting any malfunctions or concerns to the maintenance team promptly.
• Coordinate with the logistics team to plan and execute vehicle movement and loading schedules effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area, adhering to safety regulations and protocols at all times.
• Assist in inventory management and perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements :

• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Proven experience as a forklift operator, with a focus on vehicle handling and container loading.
• Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours

Job Type : Full-time

Salary : $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours : 8 per week

Benefits :
