Senior Staff Geotechnical Engineer - 2104818
Our Client , a leader in the engineering industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Staff Engineer to join their Geotechnical Engineering Department.
In this role, you will play a key role in supporting a variety of projects by :
- Performing geotechnical analyses and calculations.
- Coordinating and supervising field inspections and investigations, including on-site direction of geotechnical drilling activities.
- Monitoring construction operations, including earthwork, dewatering, steel and concrete design, excavation support installations, and preparing engineering field reports.
To be successful, you will possess the following qualifications and skills :
Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering with coursework emphasis in geotechnical engineering or a related field (e.
g., Geological Engineering).
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
- 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Excellent prioritization, coordination, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple projects.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to understand and apply technical specifications.
- Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and excellent driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors, occasional overtime, weekends, and travel (including overnight stays).
