Senior Oil & Gas Attorney - Oklahoma City, OK
Position Overview : Kuiper Law Firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior Oil and Gas Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the legal intricacies within the oil and gas sector, including regulatory compliance, contracts, transactions, and litigation. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile cases and provide strategic legal counsel to a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of oil and gas matters, including exploration, production, leasing, and royalties.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to oil and gas operations, including joint operating agreements, farm-out agreements, and service contracts.
- Represent clients in oil and gas litigation, including disputes over mineral rights, lease agreements, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions within the oil and gas industry.
- Stay updated on federal, state, and local regulations impacting the oil and gas industry, and ensure clients are in compliance.
- Collaborate with other attorneys within the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to grow the firm's oil and gas practice.
