Job Description

StaffMED Health Partners is proud to partner with a leading Level II Trauma Center in Independence, MO , to assist in the search for full-time Emergency Medicine Physicians. This facility is also preparing to open a freestanding emergency department (FSED) in Fall 2025, offering additional opportunities for emergency medicine professionals.

Position Overview

  • Board certification : ABEM / AOBEM required
  • Annual volume : 65,000 patient visits
  • Facility : 42-bed emergency department with a 24 / 7 Rapid Care Unit
  • Coverage :

60 hours of daily physician coverage (10-hour shifts)

  • 58 hours of APP coverage Monday - Friday
  • 48 hours of APP coverage Saturday - Sunday
  • Missouri medical licensure required
