Position Purpose & Summary :

The Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Affiliate Networks for Strata Med is responsible to conceive, plan, direct, control and implement all strategies and activities to generate and maximize overall revenues through marketing, sales, network development / management, branding, promotion, advertising, and public relations which will positively impact all operating departments of the company.

To direct and support the marketing and sales operations to prospective employers and brokers with the development and management of a strategic and expansive healthcare affiliate network to maximize company program offerings and growth potential.

Contribute to the overall direction and operations of the company to effectively control and minimize all marketing, sales and network development expenses while exceeding overall budgeted revenues.

Essential Functions :

  • Direct all facets of the group sales effort to meet or exceed budgeted revenue and profit goals.
  • Actively solicit, prospect and close contracts with employers, brokers, and healthcare providers directly.
  • Develop and implement an annual marketing and sales plan, monitoring all programs for measurement against desired results.
  • Create a three-year company business plan for marketing, sales, and brand awareness of company's programs.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement the budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Develop and manage an annual marketing and sales budget to achieve targeted revenue objectives.
  • Manage the affiliate network budget to achieve targeted network growth goals.
  • Develop and implement a research-based brand strategy.
  • Launch marketing campaigns that position the company's brand, drives client engagement, and defines brand's reputation and image.
  • As the gatekeeper of the brand, set brand standards, mission and goals, expand brand's reach to clients and build brand loyalty and recognition through strategic communication channels.
  • Lead the development of the healthcare affiliate network.
  • Develop, manage, and expand healthcare affiliate networks in strategic locations.
  • Design and administer network policies and services that comply with all contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Secure network participation through identifying, researching, vetting, and assessing healthcare providers that align with the mission of the company.
  • Execute new healthcare provider contracts and support network growth strategies.
  • Responsible for favorable network relations, network database systems, network credentialing and re-credentialing processes.
  • Stimulate productivity of all support staff through guidance, development, and collaboration.
  • With a detailed understanding of the program pricing models, promote the company's group healthcare programs to prospective employers and brokers.
  • Assist with employer open enrollments, as needed.
  • Monitor competitor programs, services, sales, and marketing activities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
  • Design and capitalize on all advertising and public relations opportunities including but not limited to print, online, electronic media and direct mail.
  • Collaborate departmentally in managing the company's website, social media and print collateral.
  • Write press releases, publications, communications and prepare information for media.
  • Direct the marketing and sales efforts on a day-to-day basis in accordance with objectives outlined in the marketing and sales plans.
  • Oversee the company's onsite call center.
  • Manage the company's supplement mail-order and fulfillment operations.
  • Prepare all monthly reports for management and owners on a timely and accurate basis.
  • Design, implement and monitor the marketing and sales strategy toward key target markets to achieve revenue objectives.
  • Effectively control all marketing expenses to insure optimum operating profit.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by management.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Business Administration or a related field of study .
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in healthcare network development or a related position within the healthcare industry.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Healthcare sales or marketing.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications and web-based technologies.
  • Highly proficient in organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and closing skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
