Are you a dedicated and passionate paraprofessional seeking a new opportunity in the Monument, COarea? We have the perfect role for you if so! Soliant has multiple openings for a special education paraprofessional that involveworking with students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
We offer weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and full benefits (including healthcare and 401k contributions) with this position!
What You'll Do :
- Provide instructional support and assistance to students with special needs
- Assist students with academic tasks, including reading, writing, math, and other subject areas, under the direction of teachers.
- Implement behavior management strategies and support students in developing appropriate social skills.
- Assist with the implementation of accommodations and modifications outlined in students' IEPs.
- Provide support during small group instruction and individualized instruction as needed.
- Assist with classroom organization and preparation of instructional materials.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists,and other staff members to ensure the success and inclusion of students with special needs.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid CO paraprofessional certification and / or at least 2 years of credit toward a college degree required
- At least one year of experience as a paraprofessional preferred
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
