Our direct end-client a large healthcare insurance provider is seeking to hire a Technical Lead - .NET Development for a contract-to-hire role (W2, only) to work in Philadelphia, PA 19103 (need locals only, Must be onsite Tues-Thurs.). W2 only.
Job Title : Technical Lead - .NET Development
Work Location : Philadelphia, PA 19103 (Need locals only, work from office three day / week Tues Thurs.)
Duration : 6 months contract-to-hire, W2 only
Looking for a Technical Lead .Net Development full stack developer with primarily 10+ years of front-end experience. This will be a hybrid role, following return to work guidelines - consultant will be expected to come into the office 3x / week.
Must have :
Technical Lead .NET .NET core, Angular 14+, SQL, microservices architecture, and logging / security experience for external users (for example : ELK stack).
Candidate should also have proven leadership, business, and presentation skills.
Using Angular 16 / 17 (Okay with Angular 14 or higher) API Microservices Containers More Front-end SQL Cloud Wouldn’t be developing new code, will do code review Become an SME on the applications Should be able to work backend Analytical skills are critical Use Elastic Stack : (ELK) for logs People & business skills Walking people through Architecture Manage a team of 10+ people
Preferred :
API development experience highly preferred. Java, Cloud upgrade / transition hosting on cloud (GCP) and Liferay experience are nice to have
Additional Job Tasks :
Coordinating with related teams such as enterprise services, informatics, infrastructure, data modeling, testing / QA, security, and architecture.
Assisting the team members with best patterns and practices and ensuring they are followed.
Ensuring security, maintainability, and performance of the application.
Mentoring team members
Refining the requirements and translating them into a detail design of data stores, components, and services.
Assisting the PM with task breakdown, estimation, and assignment.
Creating functional and detail design documentation.
Assisting with production problem resolution.
Being a SME and single point of contact for the PM, business, management, and security office / audit.
Experience of working as a member of an agile team and familiar with agile planning and estimation techniques. Demonstrate a solid understanding of the fundamental rationale for employing an agile approach to implementation
Experience with using engineering practices that compliment an agile approach. Test driven development, source branching strategies, continuous integration etc.
Experience working with TFS for source control, deployment / builds, backlog and task management.
Manage development team using Agile and scrum methodologies
Ability to write design specifications based on architecture blueprint documents
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Detail oriented, ability to multi-task
Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills
