Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs (SLP)
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP (SLPA)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and professionals to support students' academic and social success
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Assist in monitoring progress and adjusting intervention strategies as needed (SLPA)
Qualifications for SLP :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid California license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications for SLPA :
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or equivalent
- Valid California license or eligibility for licensure as an SLPA
- Previous experience in educational or clinical settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
