Descriptive Summary
The Director Builder Sales is responsible for leading and managing the sales team that focuses on working with large home builders.
This role entails developing and executing strategic plans, identifying new business opportunities, and increasing revenue from existing accounts.
Essential Functions
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth and penetration in homebuilder accounts.
- Work with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with new customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, industry influencers, and stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments such as marketing, product, and customer service to develop and execute plans that deliver value to customers.
- Track and analyze performance data to continuously improve sales strategies and tactics.
- Manage and develop the existing sales team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on the homebuilder and developer industry

- Professional-level verbal and written communication skills and the ability to negotiate agreement between parties with different perspectives

- Knowledge of principles, procedures and best practices in the industry

- Microsoft Office programs experience and Advanced Excel.

- Ability to monitor and manage multiple initiatives concurrently
- Strong understanding of pricing structure of construction trades and bids / contract management
