JOB SUMMARY :

The Buyer will play an instrumental role in supporting day to day purchasing activities and driving operational excellence.

The successful candidate will be an entry-level Purchasing and supply chain professional in

• Improving internal and external customers satisfaction, and
• Practicing decision making based on data and analytics in collaboration with the cross-functional team

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage day to day purchasing activities on the assigned categories (vendor management, SAP transactions management Purchase order, Inventory transfer, production order)
• Manage demand planning for stocked parts (MRP, min / max)
• Manage MRO and indirect spend at the local site
• Assist with end to end Supply Chain project coordinator to ensure on time delivery to our customers regionally and / or globally
• Identify process improvement opportunities and assist the Supply Chain team in executing the process improvement initiatives
• Ensures compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety requirements
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

• Technical degree with preference given to candidate having following qualities : a can-do attitude, resourceful, and executing tasks with attention to details
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers, and vendors
• Have advanced experience with MS Office reporting tools (Excel, Power BI)
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP Business One) is preferred but not required
• Self manages; takes initiatives, and can collaborate across geographies and functions in a matrixed environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High integrity and ethics
• Ability to support global cultural differences
