We are seeking a collaborative, innovative Data Product lead to join our team!
The Director / VP, Data Product will drive analytical and ML / AI innovation within the ArcSpan Audience Monetization System platform.
The position will support the development and launch of data-driven features and functionality that empower our clients to extract greater insights and achieve better audience monetization.
This involves close collaboration with stakeholders both internally and externally. On a day-to-day basis, they will interact with the product, engineering and customer success teams to understand requirements, analyze information and craft comprehensive solutions.
Job Description
- Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to build data products supporting audience insights and monetization.
- Proficiency in deriving meaningful business insights from data and pinpointing the underlying causes of patterns.
- Take charge of, devise, and execute advanced data analysis, predictive analytics, develop mathematical methodologies, and create intricate algorithms to address business challenges.
- Work hands-on to use large datasets and build, train and test machine learning models.
- Implement a variety of ML models based on a philosophy that the data product should solve business needs.
- Leverage generative AI to create tools that help customers more efficiently tap into their datasets to drive audience value.
- Scope projects, assess potential risks and communicate clearly with the stakeholders.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have :
- 7+ years’ experience working in a data product / analyst capacity.
- Proven track record of successfully leading data and analytics teams and driving innovation.
- Experience applying machine learning to real business problems.
- Experience leading exploration and visualization of data with leading tools.
- Proficiency in Python / R, NumPy, Plotly, TensorFlow, Sci-Kit Learn, Keras.
- Experience in SQL, Scripting.
- Familiarity with using a Unix operating system.
- Familiarity of at least one of : AWS, Google Cloud or Azure Cloud infrastructures.
- Experience with natural language processing, sentiment analysis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to share / collaborate with peers; experience with working in an agile team is a plus.
- Prior experience in media.
Additional desired qualifications (but not required) :
- Significant sell-side experience, either working at a publisher / media company or at a vendor supporting the sell-side.
- An advanced degree (MS or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or related fields.
- Deep expertise in Ad Tech and MarTech, with a history of building data products in this domain.
- Experience in building Generative AI solutions.
- Familiarity with the AWS / GCP Suite of ML / AI tools.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices in data handling and storage.
