We are committed to improving the lives of our patients by providing comprehensive and compassionate care. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a PRN (as needed) basis.

We are currently hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) on a PRN basis to provide high-quality therapy services to our patients in Mobile, AL, and surrounding areas.

The PRN SLP will have the opportunity to work flexible hours based on their availability and our facility's needs. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while enjoying a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to address communication, articulation, language comprehension, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, educators, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and strategies to facilitate progress outside of therapy sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment sessions, and progress reports.

Qualifications :

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for certification.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Alabama.
  • Previous experience working with pediatric and / or adult populations preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work PRN shifts as needed.
