Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education. Base contract rates start at $18 / hour and can increase for specialized subjects, with potential to earn up to $40 / hour with same-student sessions. Get paid up to twice per week. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Remote tutoring via our platform; no commuting. AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time instructional support and lesson generation. We handle the logistics; you invoice; we manage payments.
AP English Literature and Composition Tutor
The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects online AP English Literature and Composition tutors with students nationwide. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make an impact on students’ learning journeys — from home.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions for AP English Literature and Composition.
- Personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
- Explain concepts clearly and engage students with a friendly teaching style.
- Utilize the Live Learning Platform and AI-powered tools to support instruction and save prep time.
- Invoice for tutoring sessions and manage your own schedule; Varsity Tutors handles payments.
