Job Title : Network Technician
Location : Ocoee, FL
Duration : 12 months
Experience :
- 3 to 5 years in IT infrastructure / network environments.
- Preferred : Networking certifications and experience with HPE / Aruba equipment.
Summary : The Network Technician will support and maintain network systems, including wireless networks, ensuring stable and reliable service.
Key responsibilities include configuring and troubleshooting networks, managing LAN / WLAN / WAN operations, and using network management tools to identify and resolve issues.
Responsibilities :
- Configure and manage network switch equipment.
- Monitor and optimize network performance.
- Troubleshoot and maintain LAN, WLAN, and WAN equipment.
- Plan for network capacity and risks.
- Apply OSI model knowledge to data flow management.
- Coordinate with Information Security on firewall rules.
- Utilize network management applications for fault identification.
- Adhere to departmental policies, including on-site travel.
- Track incidents and equipment transfers accurately.
- Contribute to Property Management Reports (PMRs).
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
- Lift up to 50 pounds and travel to remote sites as needed.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Institute Degree / Certificate in Information Systems or related fields, or equivalent experience.
