The Sales Representative is responsible for developing new sales relationships and effectively managing existing relationships in order to grow MedCare Equipment Company (MEC) profitability.
In this role the sales representative will take a hands-on approach to deliver on sales targets and initiatives. The ability to provide excellent customer service and support is key to this role.
Establishes and builds relationships with various referral sources including patients, doctor’s offices, hospitals, clinics, etc.
through sales calls and other means. Ensures client retention by providing excellent account management and customer service.
- Creates daily strategy to effectively communicate MedCare Equipment Company products and services to accounts.
- Executes on short and long-term marketing initiatives to ensure growth and expansion of new and existing products and services.
Provides clients with education, feedback, and responds to any questions or concerns that arise.
- Develops strong knowledge base and the ability to educate clients on MEC’s products and services.
- Stay current with industry trends and regulations a
nd effectively communicate updates to clients.
- Partners with internal and external teams to ensure accurate order placement and timely fulfillment.
- Acts as the main point of contact for the accounts you service. Aid internal and external sources to resolve order, billing, insurance, or documentation issues when they arise.
- Ability to prepare sales quotes and negotiate sales terms.
- Achieves MEC’s monthly performance and sales expectations.
- Assist in the training of new sales representatives.
- Participate in onsite event to help promote MedCare’s products and services.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Prior Healthcare or DME experience a plus
- Valid Driver’s license
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Strong listening, negotiation, and consultative sales skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong Time Management and Organizational Skills
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Ability to interact professionally, in person, via telephone, and via written communication
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Office 365.
- Ability to navigate electronic medical records systems in a web-based environment, including, but not limited to Brightree, Cerner, EPIC, and Allscripts.
