About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Labor and Delivery Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15) Guaranteed Hours : Contracted hours guaranteed Experience : 2 years of experience required License : Florida State or compact license required at time of submission Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Must-Have : - 2 references from authority figures within the last year- COVID-19 Vaccine : Required - Medical / Religious Exemptions Only- Flu Vaccine : Required 10 / 31-3 / 31 - Medical / Religious Exemptions Only Job Description : Provide specialized care in Labor and Delivery unit- Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1 : 2- Work on weekends as required, either every other weekend or a total of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period- No on-call requirements- Be open to floating within scope to meet facility needs across various departments- Block schedule accommodation depending on unit needs- Scrubs will be provided- Ensure finalized time-off requests are included with submission and approved by the manager- Support facility with flexibility and adaptability, potentially floating to multiple locations within four hospitals as needed- Orientation includes 16 hours of training Note : The role is open to first-time travelers, and local candidates are accepted at the travel rate.
