Summary :
The Clinical Research Manager plans and directs the implementation of clinical research in compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations, primarily providing clinical research nurse (CRN) management in collaboration with Research Administration leaders.
Supervises department CRNs; serves as a resource to external CRNs. Ensures high quality research, customer service excellence, and fiscal responsibility while serving as a direct link between the CRNs, clinical research staff, Principal Investigators, and research / institutional / clinical leadership.
Accountable for the performance and results of clinical research activity.
WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 5 years relevant experience in clinical research required
EDUCATION
- Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience preferred
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Current licensure in the state of Texas as an RN required
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers as required by CP 1.20 Life Support Course Requirements required
- PACES certification 180 Days required
- CCRC CCRP, or CRN Certification 1 Year required
