Commitment Bonus (1-Year) $15,000 for Day Shift or $20,000 for Night Shift
Shift Differentials : Evening $2.50 / hour / Night $4.00 / hour / Weekend $1.50 / hour
Department / Unit Summary
Join our team in a 33-bed Behavioral Health Unit specializing in adult and geriatric patients. Staffed with compassionate healthcare professionals, including RNs, CNAs, Mental Health Assistants, Psychiatrists, and Mental Health Providers.
Operating with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 6-1 : 9, our unit treats a variety of diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and Substance Use Disorder (SUD).
Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.

Qualifications and requirements
Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program required with a current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in North Carolina or from a Compact State.
Additional requirements include :
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days of hire.
AHA ACLS required within six months of hire.
Handle With Care within 90 days of hire
One year of experience preferred
