Job Title : Local Special Education Teacher - Emotional Support
Location : Abbottstown, PA
Contract Length : 36 Weeks
Compensation : Up to $53 / hr based on experience

Job Description :
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students with emotional and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create a supportive learning environment.
- Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and interventions to promote student engagement and success.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional methods as needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Education and Certification Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Pennsylvania state certification in Special Education.
- Endorsement or certification in Emotional Support preferred.
- Previous experience working with students with emotional and behavioral needs is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
