Chappell Tractor is looking to fill the following position as General Manager of our Hopedale MA store. The position is responsible for the following :
- GM must be able to support the development of a healthy internal culture that retains key employees and encourages their professional development across all departments.
- GM will work with the management team to develop and implement a clear strategic plan for the store.
- GM should be a generalist who is familiar with all areas of the business and can coordinate processes and operations across the organization.
- Oversee daily operations of the business
- Deal with any customer issues that need to be resolved
- Ensure the overall delivery and quality of the unit’s offering to customers (Sales, Rental, Parts and Service)
- Oversee key hiring, termination and HR functions.
- Work with owners in evaluating key investment in equipment and infrastructure.
- Engage in organizational strategic planning.
- Work closely with account managers and other senior staff to retain clients
- Develop new solutions to meet customer needs.
- Improve internal processes for better productivity.
- The management of budgeting and monitoring the financial health of the store.
- Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Good organization and time management.
- Good Communication skills and listening skills.
Specific to the Hopedale Store :
- Maintain the lead role in rentals, coordinating all rental activities.
- Work with Sales manager to have proper inventory at this location
- Make sure inventory is properly tagged and organized
- Support role with the sales team and office for sales docs
- Help maintain margin and efficiency across all departments.
- Work closely with parts and service managers, to support one another.
- Help develop close relationships with all stores.
- Deal with any customer issues that need to be resolved
