Facility Maintenance Service - Pharmaceutical Distribution Center

Location : Ruther Glen, VA, USA - 10504 McKesson Drive.

3 positions available :

Facility Representative - intermediate level ($23-25 / hr)

Shift : Sunday to Thursday, 3pm-11 : 30pm. Shift subject to change. OT mandatory if required

Sr Facility Representative ($28-32 / hr)

Shift : Sunday to Thursday, 3pm-11 : 30pm. Shift subject to change. OT mandatory if required

Sr Facility Representative ($28-32 / hr)

Shift : Monday to Friday, 7am-3 : 30pm. Shift subject to change. OT mandatory if required

This career opportunity offers competitive base pay. The night shift positions also offer a shift differential of $1 in addition to base pay.

Job Summary :

McKesson’s temperature controlled semi-automated Distribution Center in Ruther Glen, VA is currently hiring Facility / Maintenance / Service Technician(s) . This is a chance to work for a company that touches virtually every aspect of healthcare.

The distribution team is seeking individuals who have repair experience and knowledge of a broad range of complex facility systems. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex technical tasks. This candidate should be able to communicate professionally with a wide range of groups from external clients to upper management to front line employees and must possess an aptitude to learn quickly on new conveyance systems.

What You Will Need :

• Facility, maintenance or service technician experience, preferably with exposure to automation
• Experience with Power Equipment (Forklift / Reach Truck / Scissor Lift / Electric pallet jack); must be able to become certified and maintain certifications
• Troubleshooting and repair experience with a variety of different equipment used in a distribution center environment
• Knowledge and safe usage of various types of equipment in maintenance / facility trade (hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, etc.)
• Basic knowledge / exposure to warehouse work environments
• Basic knowledge / exposure to various trades
• Basic knowledge / exposure to LOTO and OSHA regulations
• Must be willing to assist with janitorial, housekeeping, landscaping duties (if required)
• Basic use of Microsoft Office products with the ability to learn, use, and troubleshoot internal software(s) as needed
• Assists in managing preventative maintenance scheduling and vendor contracts related to facilities services
• Assists in preparing reports, correspondence, presentations, and other materials.
• Positive, proactive, organized team members who are willing to continuously learn in a fast-paced environment
