About Us :

At Meridian, our goal is to provide safe and effective bird removal solutions to our customers in the commercial retail space.

Role :

As a Wildlife Technician, you will be the friendly face of Meridian. Our technicians uphold food safety standards for our customers while managing and mitigating potential bird-related nuisances in commercial spaces.

Due to the sporadic nature of our workflow in California, extensive travel will be a significant part of your responsibilities.

You will often drive 250+ miles to complete jobs and you will be asked to fly outside of the state to complete bird removal assignments.

Basic Qualifications and Job Functions

Basic Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years old.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Insured and reliable vehicle.
• Driving Record free from moving violations.
• Mobile smartphone.
• Ability to travel to customer locations with short notice, sometimes less than 24 hours.
• Lives within 50 miles of Sacramento, CA.

Job Functions :

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Work exposed to outdoor elements.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching.
• Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and use scissor lifts.
• Ability to see up close and at a distance.
• Ability to travel 250+ miles by car to our customers’ facilities. All technicians use their personal vehicles to travel to worksites.
• Must be comfortable with frequent air travel (trips typically range from 1 to 3+ days). All travel expenses (rental car, flights, meals, etc.

are covered by Meridian.
