We have an immediate opening for a Psychologist for a 6 month contract at a Psychiatric Hospital in Wichita Falls, TX.

- Shift / Hours : 8 hour day shift (8a – 5p) (no holiday, after-hour, or weekend shifts) Position can be a Remote / Virtual position
Duties Include :
- Work with dually diagnosed adult patients, mental health, in a hospital section, not outpatient clinic.
- Must be able to conduct Competency to Stand Trial evaluations and write Competency to Stand Trial reports, including Assessment of Malingering as part of Assessment of Competency to Stand Trial
- Must be able to conduct Violence risk assessments including administration and interpretation of the HCR-20
- Abide with agency attendance and leave policy and abide by the rules, regulations, and policies of HHSC and Facility and performs other duties as assigned.
- Will complete assigned duties in accordance with the duties assigned to permanent Licensed Psychologists of the Facility. Requirements :
- Licensed Psychologist (by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists)
- American Heart Association – approved course in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Benefits :
