Work you'll do

• Be a self-motivated system administrator to provide enterprise server support in a fast paced and demanding environment
• Build and configure Windows-based systems in support of highly visible mission areas
• Proactively and efficiently administer servers using enterprise toolsets such as SCCM, SCOM, etc.
• Effectively troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Ensure server configuration compliance with DoD and client regulations
• Document technical troubleshooting efforts
• Participate in rotational on-call duties to provide after-hours support

Qualifications

Required :

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree required.
• Active Security+CE certification required.
• At least one of the following active certifications :
• 70-697, 70-698, MD-100, MD-101, 70-410, 70-411, 70-412, or higher
• Minimum 2+ years' experience in the following :
• Experience with Server 2012 R2 administration
• Experience with physical (Dell, HP, IBM) and virtual (VMware / Hyper-V) systems
• Knowledge of client / server hardware and software configuration
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
• Must be able to work onsite at least 5 days a week or as required by the client (project based in Sierra Vista, AZ).
• Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessary
• Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries / sectors you serve

Preferred :

• 2+ years' experience in the following areas :
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Ability to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems
• Ability to create and / or modify scripts (batch, PowerShell)
• Ability to document technical troubleshooting efforts
• 1+ years of knowledge in the following :
• Windows Active Directory services
• McAfee Host Based Security System (HBSS)
• Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and / or Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)
• Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
• DISA STIGs and / or IAVAs
