Are you passionate about cybersecurity and looking to contribute to a dynamic and innovative environment? We are seeking a Security Analyst to join our team in Doral, FL.
In this role, you will support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of key security platforms such as firewalls, VPNs, and monitoring tools, ensuring the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of critical assets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage security platforms and maintain high-availability environments.
- Use monitoring tools to track performance and ensure service levels are met.
- Perform daily checks on security platforms and review executed backups.
- Automate preventive and monitoring processes to enhance system efficiency.
- Respond to incidents, resolve change requests, and escalate issues to Level 2 engineers when needed.
- Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external users.
- Communicate project statuses, system issues, and resolutions to the team.
- Identify areas for process improvements and automation.
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and implementing software / hardware changes.
- Participate in system patches, updates, and critical after-hours system changes.
- Provide technical support for ongoing projects and perform on-call duties.
- Adhere to company policies, participate in training, and stay updated on the latest security trends.
Required Skills & Experience :
- At least 1 year of experience managing security technologies.
- Minimum 1 year of technical support experience with regular user interaction.
- Knowledge of local area networking (LAN) concepts and principles.
- Must be fully bilingual (English and Spanish).
- Familiarity with CCNA, Basic Linux / Unix OS, and Windows.
- Security vendor certifications are a plus.
