American Traveler is seeking a Mobile Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, SC state license, and proficiency with Hologic Dimension equipment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a mobile mammography unit and outpatient breast clinic settingsDaily caseload ranges from 30 to 50 screening and diagnostic mammogramsUses Hologic Dimension mammography equipmentFacility utilizes Epic for chartingStandard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m., with occasional Saturday work as neededTechnologists may float between mobile assignments and physical clinic locations as requiredTravel time to work sites is compensatedNo on-call requiredPerform high-quality mammography following ACR and MQSA standards to ensure accurate physician interpretationIndependently maintain quality control records and schedule equipment maintenance to meet DHEC and MQSA inspection requirementsCollaborate with team members and leadership to uphold health and safety and minimize equipment downtimeStrong interpersonal and communication skills needed to engage with diverse patient populations and promote health literacyMust be flexible, autonomous, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient / mobile environmentScrubs in any shade of pink or dark teal top and black bottoms are requiredUnit orientation provided at work site during standard hoursAll RTO requests must be included at the time of application; approval is based on facility needTravelers must live more than 60 miles from the facility unless approved as a local at a reduced rateFirst-time travelers are acceptedPrevious permanent or PRN staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a travelerDuring hurricane season (June-November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience requiredCurrent ARRT (M), SCRQSA (M) SC state license, and BLS requiredProficiency in operating Hologic Dimension equipment is a hard requirementAbility to perform both screening and diagnostic mammogramsLicense required if applicableExperience with Epic preferredMust have SC license in hand prior to start; pending licenses not accepted\n Benefits\n
