As Associate Director of GTM Strategy and Operations, you will be a central figure in executing and optimizing our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies.
Your role will involve a blend of strategic planning, analytical insight, and cross-functional collaboration to support our sales operations.
Your work will directly influence our sales strategies and performance, making your contribution pivotal to our growth and success.
This role sits within the Operations Department and is a partner to Co-Founder and COO.
A Day in the Life
- Strategic GTM Planning & Sales Planning : Lead and execute key GTM and sales planning initiatives, ensuring they align with our broader business objectives to drive growth and market penetration.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Act as a key liaison between the sales team and other departments, ensuring seamless execution of GTM strategies and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Program Management : Engage in daily custom reporting, support dashboard, tools, and process delivery. Manage quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and target setting to ensure sales alignment and accountability.
- Program Management : Run and drive various programs, including new product launches, new sales motions, and identifying execution gaps.
This involves collaboration with all teams (marketing, sales, ops) and leadership, ensuring alignment and execution excellence.
- Performance Measurement & Optimization : Utilize analytics and insights to measure GTM and sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Leadership & Influence : Provide leadership within the GTM Ops function, influencing the sales team and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Keep track of new and upcoming deals to stay ahead of market demands.
Process Improvement : Continuously evaluate and refine sales processes and tools to improve team productivity and data quality, acting as the custodian of GTM functions.
What You Need
- Multi-year experience in management consulting, B2B GTM strategy, sales, or sales operations.
- Sales Knowledge : A solid understanding of sales processes, cycles, and methodologies.
- Strategic Leadership : Ability to run comp plans, conduct custom data analytics, influence sales teams without direct authority, and manage cross-functional programs.
- Program Management : Experience in managing programs related to new product launches, sales motions, and identifying and addressing execution gaps.
- Interpersonal Skills : Exceptional interpersonal skills with a self-starter attitude and the ability to drive initiatives independently.
- Technical Skills : Strong hands-on experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
